The questions below will help you know if you will be a good fit for this community. Decide for yourself if you agree, disagree, or feel neutral.

I want to be a part of this community because I have time, resources, and skills to contribute.

Example: I can give 8 hours per month to community and share my part in reasonable monthly fees.

I currently have self-care practices to support my physical, emotional, and intellectual wholesomeness.

Examples: I meditate, pray, practice yoga, have a good mental health counselor, a support group, friends who support me.

I value Mother Nature and act accordingly.

Example: I re-use, recycle, look for non-plastic options when purchasing, garden, notice and respect plants, trees, wildlife.

I would like to further develop my gifts and talents in community and encourage others to develop theirs.

Example: I take/have recently taken a class in NonViolent Communication, gardening, Permaculture.

I respect other paths and do not hold my ideas as the best.

Example: I maintain a stance of self-acceptance and non-judgement.

I value a sense of community with others.

Example: Given opportunities for face-to-face interactions, I turn away from digital screens.

I would like to participate in some group activities.

Example: working together in the garden and sharing a meal with my community sounds fun.

I appreciate diversity in my community.

Example: I welcome the chance to learn about other people and what their needs are for safety and inclusion.

I am willing to face the mysteries of birth, childhood, adulthood, aging and death.

Example: If a member is sick, injured, confused, facing a terminal illness or death, I can be part of a loving, supportive team.
